3-Ingredient Sausage & Cheese Pinwheels

Another episode of my Game Day Bites series, and this one could not be easier. Flaky crescent dough, spicy sausage, melty cheddar - that’s it!

Ingredients Method Notes

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz hot pork sausage cooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • green onions
  • hot honey
  • ranch
  • hot sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  1. Brown sausage over medium heat until fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
  1. Roll crescent dough into one rectangle, sealing the seams.
  1. Evenly spread the cooked sausage over the dough, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  1. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 1–1½ inch pinwheels.
  1. Arrange the pinwheels on a lined baking sheet.
  1. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, drizzle hot honey or ranch over the pinwheels before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions for a fresh touch.
  • Serve with hot sauce on the side for those who like an extra kick.
