This was my husband's favorite dessert growing up - a nostalgic favorite! This quick and easy dessert requires zero baking and is perfect for hot summer months.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 cookies Store-bought chocolate chip cookies
  • 3 cups Vanilla ice cream
  • Optional: M&Ms crushed Oreos, Reese’s, Magic Shell topping

Method
 

  1. Scoop vanilla ice cream onto one cookie.
  1. Press another cookie on top to create a sandwich.
  1. Roll the edges of the ice cream sandwich in your desired toppings, such as M&Ms, crushed Oreos, Reese’s, or Magic Shell topping.
  1. Freeze the ice cream sandwiches for 30 minutes to set.
  1. Serve and enjoy!

  • Use slightly softened ice cream for easier scooping and spreading.
  • Prepare a variety of toppings to cater to different preferences.
