Ingredients

  • 17.6 oz dry pasta
  • 24 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 white onion diced
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 8 oz stracciatella (burrata filling)
  • 1 bundle basil

Method

  1. Stir pasta, tomato sauce, chicken broth, diced onion, garlic, and seasonings in a 9x13 dish.
  1. Mix in 1 cup of shredded mozzarella and dollop half of the burrata filling throughout the dish.
  1. Cover the dish and bake at 400°F for 35–40 minutes.
  1. Uncover the dish, stir, top with the remaining shredded mozzarella, and broil for 3-5 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • If the pasta looks dry during baking, add ½ cup of water to keep it moist.
  • You can swap stracciatella with cream cheese, ricotta, goat cheese, or mascarpone for a similar creamy texture.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle fresh basil on top before serving.
