Ingredients

  • 4 slices sourdough
  • 6 oz brie sliced
  • 8 oz prosciutto
  • 1 honeycrisp apple thinly sliced
  • 1 cup arugula lightly dressed with olive oil, salt, pepper
  • hot honey
  • butter

Method

  1. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough and toast in a skillet over medium heat until golden and crispy.
  1. Lay the brie slices on two of the toasted slices and place them in the oven under the broiler for 1 to 2 minutes until bubbly and melty. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  1. Remove from the oven and layer on the prosciutto, apple slices, and dressed arugula.
  1. Drizzle generously with hot honey.
  1. Top with the remaining slices of sourdough, slice in half, and serve.

Notes

  • Watch the brie closely under the broiler to prevent it from burning.
  • Use a sharp knife to thinly slice the honeycrisp apple for even layering.
  • If you don’t have hot honey, mix honey with a pinch of chili flakes for a quick substitute.
